Join our Sponsor Discussion Group!

Our online discussion group, Chatterbox, is a place where you can communicate with other sponsors to ask questions, get advice, pick up great box ideas, and even hear about discounts or savings other sponsors have found for their match families. This is an active group. Some days there may only be a few messages posted, but other days many more.

We use the Yahoo Groups feature to manage this discussion group. To sign up, you have two options. You can send a blank email to boxproject_chatterbox-subscribe@yahoogroups.com, this option only provides email access. Optionally, for full access to the group Web page with archived messages, files, photos, chat, and other features, follow the instructions at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boxproject_chatterbox. You will be guided through obtaining a Yahoo ID (if you don't already have one) and then you can sign up to be a Chatterbox member. As a member you will be given the option to view messages in one of three ways:

1. receive an individual email for each message posted;

2. receive just one email containing all messages in the group that day (called digest format); 

3. go to Yahoo Groups on your own and view the messages online at your leisure.

Once you have signed up for Chatterbox, you can look through the online archive of messages, files, and photos. The files include sample checklists to send to your family as well as past newsletters and articles. You can even search for a word in the messages archive if you're looking for something in particular - we know it would take a long time to read through the 3000+ messages in the archive.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have. This group offers a wealth of information and wisdom! It includes a wide range of members with experience ranging from just getting started to members that have had match families for 20+ years.  

Although anyone can become a member of the Chatterbox, all messages to the group are moderated. This means that each message is reviewed and posted by our volunteer moderators, so please be patient if your message doesn't show up immediately. This helps us try to ensure that we can screen out spam and other postings that aren't appropriate for this group. This will also include screening of any referrals or solicitations for other charitable organizations.

Once you join the group, you will receive an email detailing the instructions and email address for posting a message.
