Join Sponsor Discussion Group!
An independently owned and managed online discussion group, Chatterbox, is a place where you can communicate with other sponsors to ask questions, get advice, pick up great box ideas, and even hear about discounts or savings other sponsors have found for their match families. This is an active group managed by volunteers. Some days there may only be a few messages posted, but other days many more.
The volunteer moderators use the Yahoo Groups feature to manage this discussion group. Please go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/boxproject_chatterbox to sign up for full access to the group Web page with archived messages, files, photos, chat, and other features. You will be given instructions and guided through obtaining a Yahoo ID (if you don't already have one) and then you can sign up to be a Chatterbox member. As a member you will be given the option to view messages in one of three ways:
1. Receive an individual email for each message posted;
2. Receive just one email per day containing all messages in the group for that day, (called digest format);
3. Go to Yahoo Groups on your own and view the messages online at your convenience.
Once you have signed up for Chatterbox, you can look through the online archive of messages, files, and photos. The files include sample checklists to send to your family as well as past newsletters and articles. You can even search for a word in the messages archive if you're looking for something in particular.
Feel free to post any questions you may have. This group offers a wealth of information and wisdom! It includes a wide range of members with experience ranging from just getting started to members that have had match families for 20+ years.
Although anyone can become a member of Chatterbox, all messages to the group are moderated. This means that each message is reviewed and may be edited, then posted by our volunteer moderators, so please be patient if your message doesn't show up immediately. This helps them screen out spam and other postings that aren't appropriate for this group. Moderators screen referral recommendations and do not allow solicitations for other charitable organizations.
Once you join their group, you will receive an email detailing the instructions and email address for posting a message.
