Thank you for becoming a Member of The Box Project.  Community Center sponsors are very much like the family sponsors with the exception that they are not matched to one specific family, but matched to a Community Center or small facility in one of our recipient areas. Community Center sponsors can be families or groups that want to band together to help a community. They learn about that center and its staff, and help people through the center. Centers are located in local communities and may be school or church run centers with clothing closets, thrift shops, food pantries, sources for household supplies or other supports such as programs for children and the elderly and information and referral services. On average, community center sponsors budget about $100 per month for material aid to their matched center.
